CONCENTRATED ACID LIPASE
BioTan – ACDL (Concentrated Acid Lipase for Formulation)
DESCRIPTION:
BioTan – ACDLis a concentrated acid lipase enzyme preparation derived from selected strain of fungal species. BioTan – ACDL hydrolyses insoluble fat and oil matter into soluble fatty acids and glycerol which then can be easily removed. It is designed to be formulated into products according to end user specifications and requirements.
APPLICATION:
BioTan – ACDL disperses fatty substances and oils, enhancing re-hydration and removal of adipose tissue. It gives high performance degreasing, thereby improving fat dispersion and removal, giving uniform color and improved dye uptake. It also increases tear and tensile of strength of the finished leather.
BioTan – ACDL offers the following benefits:
Specific action on fatty substances and oil.
No damage to strength.
Elimination and or reduction of usage of aggressive chemicals.
Wide variety of application processes.
Eco-friendly & Biodegradable.

GENERAL GUIDELINES:
The performance of enzymes in tanning depends on number of factors, including the pH and temperature of the process, float ratio, process time, dosage of product, enzyme activity present in product at time of its use and process parameters.
DOSAGE:
The dosage can be optimized on basis of trials only and depends upon the concentration of formulated product and desired level of performance efficacy.
COMPATIBILITY:
Enzymes designed for use in tanning applications are compatible with commonly used bating, dehairing, degreasing and soaking components in general. However it is recommended to test compatibility of BioTan – ACDL with the ingredients prior to their applications.
PACKING:
It is available in 50 KG HDPE Drums.
STORAGE:
Cool & dry conditions are recommended. Extended storage or adverse conditions may lead to higher dosage requirement.
SHELF LIFE:
It can be stored in closed container up to six months at 25°C.
SAFETY:
Enzyme preparation belongs to protein, which may induce sensitization and or cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. Prolonged contact may cause minor irritation for skin, eyes or mucous membrane of nose, so any direct contact with the human body should be avoided. If irritation or allergic response for skin or eyes develops, consult a doctor. MSDS is available on request.
