BIOBLEACHING ENZYMES
BioPulp – BLC (Biobleaching Enzyme for Paper Industry)
DESCRIPTION
BioPulp – BLCis a Xylanase Enzyme produced by controlled fermentation of a selected strain of microbial species. It falls in the category of endo-1, 4-Beta Xylanase which are the most important enzymes for hydrolysis of Xylan polymers.
BioPulp – BLC finds application in the Biobleaching process. Xylanase Enzymes enable a partial hydrolysis of the Hemicellulose precipitated onto pulp fiber during the alkaline cooking process. Enzymes loosen the Xylan linkages making Lignin easier to remove by bleaching chemicals. As a result of enzymatic treatment of cooked pulp, it is possible to attain higher brightness pulp using lesser chlorine or chlorine dioxide. This results in reducing chemical cost, improved fiber properties and reduction in environment pollution. Reduction of Alkaline cooking of wood pulp helps in conserving fiber. BioPulp – BLC operates at a wide Temperature and pH range suitable for usage in Kraft Pulp.
BioPulp – BLC offers the following benefits:
Active over a wide temperature an pH range.
Specific action on Xylan matter.
Higher brightness level.
Reduces environmental pollution.
Eco-friendly & Biodegradable.

PROCESSING GUIDELINES:
The enzymatic effect depends on nature of pulp, type of process and application parameters. The product should be optimized for dosage depending on parameters required in a laboratory trial prior to commercial application.
DOSAGE:
The dosage can be optimized on basis of trials only and depends upon the type of process and desired level of performance efficacy. The initial recommended dosage is in the range of 0.2 – 0.4 KG / MT of Dry Pulp.
COMPATIBILITY:
It is recommended to test compatibility of BioPulp – BLC with ingredients used in paper processing prior to its use and its applications.
PACKING:
It is available in 50 KG HDPE Drums.
STORAGE:
Cool & dry conditions are recommended. Extended storage or adverse conditions may lead to higher dosage requirement.
SHELF LIFE:
It can be stored in closed container up to six months at 25°C.
SAFETY:
Enzyme preparation belongs to protein, which may induce sensitization and or cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. Prolonged contact may cause minor irritation for skin, eyes or mucous membrane of nose, so any direct contact with the human body should be avoided. If irritation or allergic response for skin or eyes develops, consult a doctor. MSDS is available on request.
