DEINKING ENZYMES
BioPulp – DNK (Deinking Enzyme for Paper Industry)
DESCRIPTION
BioPulp – DNK is a Cellulase / Hemicellulase enzyme complex. It selectively modifies cellulosic fibers to aid in the separation of ink and other debris from recycled papers. Laser or polymeric ink binds with the fiber so tightly that it is not possible to disperse these with conventional chemicals without damaging the fiber. BioPulp – DNK allows the secondary fiber structure to loosen up, releasing the embedded ink with reduced usage of alkali and detergents. Benefits include improved pulp cleanliness, a brighter final pulp, improved machine run ability and reduced dusting while the reduction of colloidal fines improve drainage.
BioPulp – DNK offers the following benefits:
Eliminates the need for harsh chemicals.
Enhanced strength of paper with higher brightness.
Improves drainage properties.
Reduces stickies through better dispersion.
Eco-friendly & Biodegradable.

PROCESSING GUIDELINES:
The enzymatic effect depends on nature of pulp, type of process and application parameters. The product should be optimized for dosage depending on parameters required in a laboratory trial prior to commercial application.
DOSAGE:
The dosage can be optimized on basis of trials only and depends upon the type of process and desired level of performance efficacy. The initial recommended dosage is in the range of 0.2 – 0.4 KG / MT of Dry Pulp.
COMPATIBILITY:
It is recommended to test compatibility of BioPulp – DNK with ingredients used in paper processing prior to its use and its applications.
PACKING:
It is available in 25 KG & 50 KG HDPE Drums.
STORAGE:
Cool & dry conditions are recommended. Extended storage or adverse conditions may lead to higher dosage requirement.
SHELF LIFE:
It can be stored in closed container up to six months at 25°C.
SAFETY:
Enzyme preparation belongs to protein, which may induce sensitization and or cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. Prolonged contact may cause minor irritation for skin, eyes or mucous membrane of nose, so any direct contact with the human body should be avoided. If irritation or allergic response for skin or eyes develops, consult a doctor. MSDS is available on request.
